Restaurant Manager

The Break Room is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, responsible manager to help lead our team of servers, counter staff and runners and manage the operations of the restaurant. Applicants must have a genuine love of hospitality and understand the importance of building relationships with both customers and staff members. TBR is seeking someone who has great motivational skills, who is a self-starter, and who is passionate about food, beverage, and service.

The manager works closely with the chefs to run the floor at the restaurant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • running the floor
  • training/coaching/inspiring/motivating staff
  • actively establishing connections with our guests
  • setting clear expectations of all service staff and holding them accountable
  • helping hire staff
  • ensuring the best possible experience for all of our guests at all times.
  • must have restaurant management experience.

The right candidate is key in continuing the tone of the restaurant set by the owners and will be instrumental in building relationships with both customers and staff members.

This is a hands-on managing position in which you are on the floor working closely with the staff to help provide an unparalleled and genuine level of friendliness, warmth, and devotion to our guests. In addition, the manager should be well versed in general office computer skills and POS operation.

Hours are primarily 7:30-4:30 Wednesday-Sunday
